Ongoing Training is a Critical Part of MST
In order to keep true to the MST treatment model so that the best results can be reached for youth and their families, rigorous and continual training is needed.
MST Services provides ongoing instruction, workshops, webinars and conferences. Online registration is available for most of these sessions. 5-Day Orientation- A training designed to prepare MST therapists and teams to begin working with youth and their families.
- 1.5-Day MST-SA Training- A training designed to prepare MST-SA teams to begin using Contingency Management techniques with youth and their families.
4-Day MST-CAN Orientation Training- A training designed to prepare MST-CAN teams to begin using evidence-based strategies and techniques with children and their families within the context of MST-CAN (Child Abuse and Neglect).
- 4-Day MST-CAN Trauma Training- A training for MST-CAN teams that focuses on the treatment of adults and children with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in the context of MST-CAN (Child Abuse and Neglect)
Supervisor Orientation Training- A 2-day training for new MST supervisors, typically attended during the first 6 months on the job.
Advanced Supervisor Workshop- A training designed for MST clinical supervisors who have been in the position for 6 months or more.
Webinars- Online training sessions for basic training on the enhanced website, managing users on the enhanced website, program management and performance reports, and therapist adherence reports.
Conferences- MST Network Partner Conference, International MST Conference, and the Blueprints for Violence Prevention Conference
